Visualization

Data acquisition
Controlling and measuring of instruments is done when the software queries the devices and obtains a response. The data acquired is manipulated via a predefined format to get the process value. The data acquisition function code can read as well as write the holding and coil registers.
Data Logging
The software can be automated to log data at specific timings or can be done manually. Logging is possible in excel spreadsheets or database. Log files can be quickly and easily viewed by specifying the maximum entries to be allowed in a particular file.
Alarm Generation
Whenever the plant and overall system functioning deviates from normal, alarm is generated. It helps you to take the corrective action. Set point values of the instrument can be set and modified from the software to maintain consistency.
Historical/Live Trending
Graph can be generated from log files to view the system consistency. Real time trending is possible with graphical views.
Configurable Setup
Pre-defined and configurable settings provide flexibility to use the software according to your setup. System settings allows you to configure the time out period for response fetching, the number of retires to be made, logging time interval, baud rate, word length, parity bit and much more. |
